Difficulty: Terrain is hilly and location of boxes is a challenge.

Starting point: Ortonville Recreation Area

Directions: Take M-15 North to Oakwood road then turn right. Follow Oakwood to Sands Road and turn left. Take Sands Road to State Park Road and turn right. Follow this until you see the sign for the park entrance on the left side. Take this road all the way to the fork, and then go left until it ends. Park here.

Clues:

A cement square is your launching pad for an adventure filled with fun,

A heading of 270 degrees will take you closer to the prize you shall have won.

Along the way shall pass a hill and small groves of ferns from long ago,

Caution here, as the trails will lead you to the best way to go.

When the trails make a Y, do your best to stay to the left here,

18 steps past the Juniper bush, not too far from your path no reason to fear.

Look for Oak trees in a love triangle, standing tall and close, together forming a strong base,

Look at the rock on which their relationship is built to find what you seek, resting in its case.
